Scary Halloween...

Mose and Lew planned to dress up for Halloween, as an elephant and a peanut respectively.

But THEN... instead of being an elephant and a peanut...

They were feverish instead.

Pretty lame costumes, if you ask me.

(though the pumpkin was cool)

A real live weekend...

It's a rare treat when Mose and Lew can spend the weekend with Daddy. He works soooooooooooooooooooo hard. But a few weeks back, Daddy took them to the ZOO! (notice Mose ended the day in different pants from the ones he *started* the day in. Oh Mose!)

Who mkaes the best muffins...

Mose does!!!

(with some help from Mama and Betty Crocker)

On your feet!!!

Lew has his OWN excersaucer now.

Watch out world!

Nooooooodles....

Mose likes Piscetti.

Lewis at work...

Lewis does his best work at Doc. Bombay's every day...

He's very grateful for their free wi fi, and thinks the peanut butter cookies are to DIE for!

A fun day...

After the fun sad day, their was a fun FUN day!

It began with breakfast, with Abbie and Bea, at Solstice... and ended up at Noah's Ark, which is a cool place full of animals. For our friend Gianni's BIRTHDAY!

(Noah's Ark is also full of wacko fundamentalist Christians, so be warned. But the lion and two of the llamas are Jewish, so we didn't feel TOO weird)

A sad day...

This week, Lewis and Mose and Mama went to Chattanooga, for a sad sad reason. An old friend of Mama's, Ken Smith, passed away...

And so the boys attended their first funeral.

They did not understand the sadness, and found the funeral to be FUN! Mose read books with Winnie, the daughter of an old friend of Mama's. And Lewis rolled around in some really nice grass.

Heads up...

A few weeks ago, Lew began lifting his head up, and taking a look around.

Good thing too, since Mose has all kinds of things to teach him.

Brothers are the best!

School daze...

In other news, Mose has begun school!

He generally remembers his lunchbox, but sometimes he "remembers" to take other things too. His truck. The cat.

Each morning, he checks on a little watermelon growing at the door to the Ormewood School.

Just in case it has turned into something else...

At LAST!!!

Okay, we broke down and bought a charger for the drawerful of batteries. And so.... here we are. Showing off the fact that Lew has, at 4 months of age, the biggest eyes in the galaxy.
