Lew Loves New York!!!

Lew went to New York, to meet with his agent and editor, and MAN! he had fun. Subway cars, backyard lazydays in Brooklyn (yes, a tree , Random House and a swanky Pan-Asian joint (Lew loves Pan-Asian, dontcha know!) Then ice cream at Louie Gs (which should be called Lewey-G's) and the train home...

Lew likes the travel.DOES grow in Brooklyn, not to mention some grass)

Fells Point and a Boat...

While in Baltimore, Lew went for a boat ride with the family, and a stroll around Fell's Point with Momma and Mose. He even had lunch at Jimmy's Diner with Gramps, though he's a mite too young for the special. No crab cakes for Lew!!!

Come into the garden, Lew...

Lew's Boppy lives in a beautiful garden in Baltimore, full of tiny tomatoes and giant cucumbers (even bigger than Lew!). Lew is too little to eat them, but he dangled around the garden with Momma, while his brother Mose got tangled up in beans, ate a sour apple, and generally scampered. Aunt Em came along too, and Phoebe the trashhound.

Too bad *you* weren't there.

Knock knock...

Lew can smile!

Milestone!!!

Lew can hold his head up...

almost, anyway.

Windows...

To the soul!

One day...

Lewis spent a whole day at the Firestone station. A WHOLE day. His mommy got pretty cranky, but Lew didn't miss a beat.

It's not every baby who gets to spend an afternoon on the floor of a tire store.

Lucky Lew.

Lew's ride...

Lew wheels about town in a pretty sweet ride, a Phil & Ted E3. He share it with his big brother Mose, but there's no pretending it isn't all about Lew.

Mostly he sleeps, but now and then he wakes up and then, watch out world!

Aunt Em...

Believe it or not, Lew actually has an Aunt Em and an Uncle Henry. Just like Dorothy.

Because she couldn't make it to his bris, Aunt Em had to come on down to Atlanta and inspect Lew for defects.

Of course, there were none.

And then...

Lew took a bath!

About time...

Day eight...

Lewis is Jewish, and so when he was exactly eight days old, something very confusing happened to him. Involving a knife and some funny words. But his mom and dad were there to make sure everything went okay, and a variety of grandparents and friends were there to watch.

After, Lew took a nap with his cool Uncle Roy.

Whew!

Lewis is here!!!

Welcome to the online home of Lewis Poma, the sweetest little peanut that ever there was. Born June 11, 2007 and weighing in at 7 pounds, 7 ounces, Lewis is ready to rock your world.

He's certainly rocking ours...
